Dental jobs in customer service can mean many different avenues depending on what type of customer service position is needed within a company.
Customer Service is a support for sales. The different types of customer service is included but not limited to the following.
- Sales Support Technician
- Sales Administration
- Customer Service Representative
- Sales and Marketing Coordinator
- Equipment Coordinator
Customer service for consumers is usually in levels within a company. A customer service representative could begin with level one within a call center then work their way up to level two or three based on their knowledge of the product and service they are offering support on.
Internal support within a company is another form of customer service. One may coordinate between internal departments in order to provide the full service that was promised to the customer.
Dental customer service personnel could cross train from other clinical job roles. Examples of dental customer service personnel from other clinical dental roles are dental assistants, dental office managers, dental hygienists, dental lab technicians, dentists and dental consultants.
