Dress For Success At Your Interview

Dress Cleanly, Neatly and Conservatively
Men:
- Suit (Clean, pressed, solid conservative dark color such as Greys and Blues)
- Matching Tie
- Long sleeved shirt- White
- Matching Belt To Shoes
- Matching Shoes To Belt- Leather Close Toed Shoes
- Cover tattoos
- Do not wear jewelry (remove piercings)
- Get a professional hair cut
- Get a manicure or make sure nails are neatly trimmed and clean
- No cologne or aftershave (some people are allergic to these)
- Polish your shoes
- Carry one item (a briefcase or folder)
Women:
- Suit (Clean, pressed, solid conservative dark color such as Greys and Blues)
- Skirts should be below the knee
- Panty Hose/Nylons with skirts
- Close toed shoes, not more than 1 inch heels
- Get a professional hair style
- Blouse
- Cover tattoos
- Earring studs (no distracting dangling jewelry)
- Remove face piercings other than ears
- Get a manicure or make sure nails are neatly trimmed and clean
- Conservative makeup (get a free professional make over at any cosmetic store such as a MAC store or at your local mall)- ask the makeup artist to do a conservative, professional look
- No perfume or colognes (some people are allergic to these- leave those for date night)
- Polish your shoes
- Carry one item (a briefcase or folder)
Other Tips
- Try on your outfit the day before and model it for a friend or family member. Ask them if you look clean, neat and professional?
- No gum chewing or eating candy.
